"Current Report" issue with Scrutinizer 7.5.1

Postby dlowe » Wed Nov 02, 2011 9:03 am

Hello All,

We have just started experiencing a strange issue and need some assistance so first I'd like to ask the forum community to see if you might have seen this before or have ideas on resolving it.

When we open the Status tab it show a list of all our devices from most active to least. If we click on either the Inbound or Outbound percentage bar of any device it attempts to run a report on that activity. The issue is that it shows "Working" progress bar then shows the report for a half a send then that disappears showing the "Working" progress bar again and continues that process for two to three minutes until finally it a "Historical Data" report with different time intervals stating "No Data for Interval".

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas that might help me resolve this I would welcome the help.

Thanks
dlowe

Hello dlowe,

This sounds like a time zone issue. Try going to Admin, selecting your user account and switching your default graph type to Pie. Does this stop the automatic refreshing?

We've redesigned our time zone implementation because of a few problems we encountered on the v7 series of Scrutinizer, so I would consider upgrading to our latest v8.6.2 release.

Thanks,
Paul

I changed it to Pie and it worked. Thanks.

We are considering upgrading but we are running the free version of 7.5.1 and haven't received approval yet to purchase it. Is the licensing the same for 8.6.2 the same as 7.5.1?

Thanks

Hi dlowe,

A v7 license will work in v8 and visa versa, but the feature sets that they enable are different.

Is there something specific you're concerned about?

Thanks,
Paul
