Denika can edit template to support MIBs of ZTE or Huawei?

Are there any way to make denika support mibs of ZTE or Huawei? Can i edit the template by some way, or some other method is available?

Hello Patrick,

Yes, you can create new device and report templates with Denika.

1. Since these devices probably do not yet have Device templates, first step is to go to Denika Admin Tools->Discovery->Single Device->enter IP Address and Credential, then select View First.

2. If a Device template does not exist for this device, you will be prompted to create a new template for this device.

3. Edit the Device label with the make and model of the device and select Device Type (Router, Switch, Server, etc.).

4. Click Continue and you will then be prompted to click HERE to continue discovering the device which will take you back to the Discover a Single Device form.

5. Click View First again, and select the reports you wish to create, or, if the reports you need are not listed, at the bottom of the page, click on 'Click here' if you do not see the report you wish to discover.

6. You will be taken to the the Device Discovery Template with the default reports for that device type. If there are reports listed you want to discover that are not checked, you can check them here and they will be created next time you run discovery on that device.

7. If the reports you want (specific to these devices) that are not listed, at the bottom of the page click where it says: Don't see the report you want? Click 'here' to create a new report template.

8. That will take you to the Denika Report Template Wizard.
Enter the OID, IP Address, and select the Credential for that device, then follow the prompts on the pages that follow.

9. For more information on the Report Template Wizard, you can click the ? in the top right corner of the page and it will take you to our context sensitive help pages.

10. After creating these report templates, and ensuring they are selected in the Device Template, you will be prompted to discover the device again to create the reports.

11. If you have multiple new report templates to create for a single device, you can go to Denika Admin Tools->Templates->Reports, and use the Report Template Wizard to create new report templates. You will also need to make sure those Report templates are selected in the Device template prior to discovering the device.
