Denika capturing Latency and Jitter from a non-Cisco device?
Does Plixer come across capturing Latency and Jitter from a non-Cisco device like Alcatel? Will there be compatibility issue? If that happens, how Denika fix that? Thanks!

Hello dascom,
If the latency and jitter information is available via and SNMP OID, then yes, Denika can access and graph it. You would need to create a new report template querying that OID.
See the forum post to your last question:
Denika can edit template to support MIBs of ZTE or Huawei?

to create new report templates.

Dear Joanne,
Thanks for your response. I have one more question, do you have any example for Denika to capture non cisco jitter and latency, may i have more hints to work on this? Thanks!

Hello dascom,
If you have the SNMP OIDs for jitter and latency tracking on the Alcatel device you want to monitor, you use those OIDs in creating new report templates.
You can follow the same example as the jitter and latency report templates for Cisco, you just need the OIDs for your Alcatel device.
What is the model of your Alcatel device?

You can definitely do this.
Under Admin Tools, select Templates.
With "Create New Template - Wizard" selected click "Report"
This will take you through a wizard of creating a new report template.
Let me know if you have any questions after going through the wizard.
