Denika ver 4.5 does not plot accurate graphs

Postby AmitVerma » Tue Aug 19, 2008 12:46 pm

We are seeing problem where Denika plots a graph with higher values than what it shows in the current and max bandwidth under the graph.

Bandwidth Limitations

What type of connection are you monitoring? Does the interface allow for bursting?

What does realtime tell you? Can you see realtime bursting above the available bandwidth?

inaccurate graph

We are trying to monitor Fast Ethernet interface on a Cisco router. The router interface shows 11.4 or 11.5 Mbps as maximum traffic and also the Denika shows the counters below the graph as 11.4 or 11.5 under Max and Current but the plotted graph shows it between 12 and 16 Mbps.
