Event log daemon not collecting events

Postby John Deviney » Fri Apr 21, 2006 11:18 am

I have confirmed the service starts successfully. Authentication is not a problem. But no events will show up in the orphan view. I also tried updating the event log daemon to the latest version.

When I stop the service and run eventlogd.exe from the command line I see the following errors:

DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Unknown column 'remote' in 'where clause' at eventlogd.pl line 453.
DBD::mysql::st fetchrow_hashref failed: fetch() without execute() at eventlogd.pl line 454.
Loaded 0 policies into memory
End Polling .

Is there a problem with my db schema or something else?

Thanks.

John

Event log daemon not collecting events

Hi John,

I apologize for not responding earlier. Are you still having a problem? Try running logalot.exe -u and logalot-util.exe -u manually for any db schema updates. Next run eventlogd.exe manually and let me know if you are still getting the error or you see events coming in.
