Exporters, but no interfaces
I just moved my Scrutinizer from a Win03 to a Wn08/64 server. I moved the /data/plixer directory as well, and ran a -maint REPAIR Plixer. When i cranked things back up, I'm missing devices.
My vitals shows 78 exports and only 17 interfaces. Is there something I need to do? It acts like the SNMP isn't working.

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
What version of Scrutinizer are you running?
Did you install the same version as you went from on the Win03 server?
What kind of devices are you recieving NetFlow from?
Have the interfaces been properly enabled with NetFlow on these devices?

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
Latest 8.6.1 on both.
I had a few hundred interfaces before moving. I'm using samplicator to push the traffic to my Scrutinizer, so I updated the new IP in the config file. When I look at the samplicator box using tcpdump, I see netflow traffic heading to the new server. I'll add wireshark to the new scrutinizer box to see what actual traffic is coming in.

That is a great idea. Wireshark will tell you if there is any flows coming into the server.

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
I'm seeing CFLOW traffic coming from 79 devices (they are cisco and riverbed). I rebooted the server, and now it found interfaces, but all by 17 are greyed out, and vitals only shows 17 interfaces.

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
Our free version only supports up to 5 devices. You may be seeing this situation. Try going into the 'device details' in the admin tab and set the interfaces to active.

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
In Scrutinizer 8.6.0 we started to implement that feature to our free version.

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
Is it possible to download a copy of 8.5.0 to get back to the version I was using before moving servers?
I don't see a way to get previous version on the website.

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
Can I have a link for the 8.5.0 version of Scrutinizer? This whole 5 device limit has caught me totally by surprise.

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
Hello smartd,
I apologize, but the older installers are not available.
Please call us at 1-207-324-8805 x3 and we can discuss getting you a licensed copy of Scrutinizer, so you're not limited to 5 devices.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Exporters, but no interfaces
So is it possible to get a 500 interface version of Scrutinizer without having to buy Flow Analytics? I just want to get 7.5 functionality back.

Hello smartd,
Scrutinizer is licensed on a per device basis not a per interface basis. I'll have one of my colleagues get in touch with you for further discussion on licensing.
Thanks,
Paul
