How can I find out how my version of apache was compiled?

Postby harveysmith » Mon Nov 29, 2010 12:09 am

I am using Apache 2 on CentOS 4.4 which I installed using "yum install httpd", but now I am curios what configuration options were used for compiling this version of apache.

Hi Harveysmith,

To know the apache version you need to run the "httpd -v" command from the apache bin directory.

Ex: Logalot directory/apache/bin>httpd -v

The Logalot directory might be named "Plixer Tools" or "SOE"

I hope this helps

Thanks,
