Matthew spends his time at Plixer with the Marketing & PR crew. Having worked at companies like Great Works Internet, Microdyne Communications, and other local businesses, Matthew understands and appreciates the opportunities of working for a Maine-based company. Matthew's enthusiasm for technology has made him a perfect fit here at Plixer. Always toting his iPhone, Matthew always has to feel “connected” in everyday life. His background includes advanced technical support, sales, marketing, accounting and all phases of product development.

Matthew’s newest (and most notable) hobby, candy making, led to a successful business venture immediately after his college graduation in 2007. With the help of his Alma Mater, The University of Maine, He and his wife spent 4 years successfully nurturing and growing “Specialty Sweets”, a luxury candy store in northern Maine, until eventually moving back South to be closer to family.

Growing up in the deep woods of Sanford Maine, Matthew has developed a passion for adventure sports like paintball, snowboarding, rally driving, skydiving and golf. When he’s not upgrading his Subaru Legacy, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 2 years, Courtney, and their 4 nieces and nephews. When not in Maine, Matthew and his wife prefer to spend their free time at Disney World in Florida- where they can act like kids and be rewarded for doing so. After visiting for their honeymoon 2 years ago, Matt and Courtney recently had a very magical experience this past new year’s eve, opting to bring in 2011 in the Magic Kingdom with 100,000 other Disney fanatics. It was so enjoyable, they returned for Easter of the same year. (Silly kids!)
