New install issue

Scrutinizer is an enterprise/business class NetFlow and sFlow analysis tool. Scrutinizer provides historical trends of the company's critical network interfaces as well as the details on:

Who: The end system causing the traffic
What: The application/protocol that is being used
When: The time frame it has been occurring for
Where: The network connection that is affected

New install issue

I just installed Scrutinizer and used the OVA. I don't have the green bubble in the upper right hand corner that tells me if the services are running properly and I have a few flows pointing to it and don't see anything. They flows have been running for about a hour or more.

Hi Toshana,

You'll need a valid license in order to collect flows on the appliance.
Send us your CustomerID and MachinID (Admin tab>Settings>Licensing) and we'll generate one for you.

I have exactly this issue.

I installed the Scrutiniser VM, I wanted to evaluate the product.

I do not get the four green LEDs on my screen. Traffic is not received. No devices are recognised by the server.

I checked using TCPDUMP. I can see the traffic arriving on port 6343, but it is being rejected by the box.

Is there something else I need to do to get the server running?

Hi acallanan,

You will need an evaluation license in order to receive flows to the VA.
If they haven't contacted you already, please contact our sales department,
