Re: Interface/Instance names

Hello dbarnes69, If you are using Flexible Netflow or IPFIX you have the ability to send interface information in an option template. This all depends on the type of router and what it supports but that is you best(easiest) option. The other way is to manualy log into the router and look at the inte...

Re: Feature suggestions: Combine interfaces in reports

Hello filobeddo,

If i read your post correctly, Scrutinizer already does what you are suggesting. When you add in 2 filters, one for interface #1 and one for interface #2, you will see all the traffic going across both interfaces.

Thank you,
Ryan

Re: Strange Issue

The 'rollcall' table is where we take data that needs to be rolled from 1 -> 5 minute averages, 5 -> 30 minute and so on up the chain. It will take some time for it to catch up .I would let it run for about an hour or so and see if you have historical data.

Re: Strange Issue

Hello, It looks the be an issue with crashed mysql tables. Try running these commands: 'mysqlcheck -uroot -p --auto-repair --all-databases' After that one, log into mysql with 'mysql -uroot -p' and run this command: 'repair table plixer.rollcall use_frm;' Let me know what kind of output you get from...

Re: New exporter not displaying any interfaces

Hello Zensquared,

This sounds like it could be a configuration issue. Could you post the netflow config here?

Re: Bandwidth utilization report

Hello ippy98, This would be a simple report to build. I believe what you are looking for is the 'Top -> Interfaces' report. Run a default report off any interface you would like to start with, then change the report type to 'Top -> Interfaces'. Then you can add 'Device/Interfaces' filters for the in...

Re: average / total / peak bandwidth?

Yes, next to each conversation, each line in the table, gives you the average rate of that conversation in the time frame. At the bottom of the table, that shows that total rate of all the conversations add together in the time frame. In this case, one hour.

Re: average / total / peak bandwidth?

I believe we should be able to get up to a total of 54Gb in a one hour period. So 27Gb total is not out of the question. 15Mb x 60 seconds = 900Mb 900Mb x 60 minutes = 54000MB In the report, if you are looking at total its the total traffic added together in the timeframe. What do you see for an ave...

Re: average / total / peak bandwidth?

Hello Hashemite2, Let me try to answer all your questions. The peaks exceed the bandwidth available on the interface, that's a different issue This could be an issue with the configuration on the device sending the flow data. If you where to forget to set the 'active flow timeout' to 60 seconds, you...

Re: Virtual Appliance : Virtual Box

Hello San,

As of now, the installation of Scrutinizer in Virtual Box is not support by our team. With that being said, there are no known issues with having it run in virtual box. We have believe this is a good way to eval the product. If you have any concerns, please let us know.

Thank you,

Re: pdf report is problem

Hello Teddy35,

We have seen this issue before. What version of the pdf converter are you using? The one that we know works is wkhtmltopdf 0.9.9. If you are not using this one, i would switch it out and then try the PDF again.

Thank you,

Re: Threshold emails - limit to certain hours

Hello Daniel, As of now, we are working on a way to limit emailing alerts to just working hours. If the alarm is triggered, as of v12.1, an email will be sent with no regard to timing. Also, the Business Hours setting is used when you run a report, you can use the drop down menu to change the time f...
