Can I install nProbe and Scrutinizer on the same machine? What address would I use for the collector, 127.0.0.1?

Hi dsieber,

Yes, you can install nProbe and Scrutinizer on the same machine and send the flows to either 127.0.0.1 or the IP address of the machine they're installed on. I've done this on my work laptop to educate myself on nProbe and to analyze my own traffic.

However, if you begin to have performance issues we recommend that Scrutinizer have dedicated resources.

Thanks,
Paul
