Nexus 7009 Speed Accuracy

Post by dallasbr » Wed Nov 25, 2015 12:02 pm

I am using the following configuration on a nexus 7009 withe f2e cards. I can see flow data, as in IP to IP statistics but the interface threwput is all off. I am seeing speeds int he Kbps range on the input and I have no idea why the accuracy is so far off. Should be 100+ Mbps.

flow exporter e1
description Scrutinizer
destination X.X.X.X
source loopback 120
transport udp 9995
version 9

flow monitor m1
record netflow-original
exporter e1

sampler netflow-sampler
mode 1 out-of 1

int Vlan XXX
ip flow monitor m1 input sampler netflow-sampler

Anybody have an idea why it would be so far off?

I think the problem you're seeing is related to sampling. I would remove the sampling portion on your configuraiton:
